The 9/11 Memorial & Museum stands as a powerful tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Located at the World Trade Center site, this attraction offers a deeply moving experience, combining outdoor spaces with an immersive museum journey. Rising beside the Memorial, One World Trade Center symbolizes hope and renewal. The tower is home to One World Observatory, offering breathtaking views of New York City from above. The attraction features two portions, one the Memorial which is a space of reflection free for all and another is the Museum that requires tickets for entry.
The Memorial, set in the footprints of the Twin Towers, is an open-air tribute with two reflecting pools, cascading waterfalls, and the names of the victims etched in bronze. Surrounded by the Memorial Glade and Survivor Tree, this space offers a place for remembrance and reflection.
The underground Museum takes you indoors to explore artifacts, personal stories, along with interactive exhibits that chronicle the events, the impact of 9/1, its aftermath, and the spirit of resilience shown by the nation.
