You will see a recreated version of the room that provides a glimpse into the practical side of the immigration process and the belongings that the immigrants carried with them on their journey to the US.

Another interesting feature of the museum is the restored dormitories that provide a glimpse into the living conditions of immigrants during their processing period. 

The Ellis Ellis Immigration Museum is located on Ellis Island in New York Harbor. To visit the museum, visitors are required to take a ferry from either Battery Park in Manhattan or Liberty State Park in New Jersey.
